Weekend Update

We finally saw some snow over the weekend, which gave me license to read all day long!  Right now, I'm totally obsessed with the Stieg Larsson series.  You might know The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, well I finished the second book, The Girl Who Played with Fire on Saturday.  Now I just have to wait a week so Barnes and Noble can send me the last book, The Girl who kicked the Hornet's Nest. I did see the movie a couple of weeks ago and I will say they did a nice job - it's not perfect but I did like it.  Now I just need to see the Swedish versions!!

I also took my niece and nephews to see Big Miracle on Sunday.  It was so so SO GOOD.  I pretty much cried through most of the movie.  My younger nephew was so mesmerized with the fact that it was based on a true story, and they showed actual footage.  My niece was fascinated with the whales themselves.  And my oldest nephew - I was just glad he didn't text through the whole movie.  It was a very nice outing for all of us, especially after the tragedy of last week.
