"Hey Kara. I was just randomly thinking about you today and wanted to thank you for being an awesome boss/friend/mentor. I really loved working at Hawley - I miss it! and you!! Hope you are well. =)"

It's a note like this that just reaffirms my belief that I am exactly where I am supposed to be in life.  What an incredible compliment!  I consider myself very lucky to work with such awesome students. It's incredibly gratifying to see them grow and mature and then eventually graduate and go on to do amazing things in their lives.  I feel so lucky that I can help them see what path they might want to take.  They have no idea how blessed I am.  :)
