Tim Gunn has been celibate for 29 years. "Do I feel like less of a person for it? No!" he said. "I am a perfectly happy, fulfilled individual."  It's nice to see someone highly visible promoting single life as perfectly normal and that someone can lead a life without a partner and feel fulfilled. It's so hard for society to understand or even accepted differences even though we promote acceptance of diversity all the time.  When someone doesn't fall into that the perfect little box, we don't know what to do with it.  I have had many instances when people have said the craziest things to me because I'm single at my age - Like I'm an old spinster waiting for some man to marry me to make me happy.  Is it really that hard to believe someone could be happy living their life without a partner?
